I love treble choirs. My favorite choir is Libera, particularly in 2007-2010.https://youtu.be/VHibCjFG0Cc 

 Ephemeral but preserved in albums and on YouTube. Those treble sopranos are all grown men now. Their childhood choir experiences are far in the past, yet it shaped their lives. The few I have followed through the years are all involved in music, performance, and choirs.

In the nineties, I had a set of identical twins. Their older sister was twenty-two months old. Those were some hectic years! Crazy, fun, exhausting! Ephemeral-- thank goodness. Who could keep up if those preschool years lasted forever? The blur that was three little girls working the hive mind?  Now they are all grown up, with jobs, career goals, absorbing hobbies, cats of their own.

I love live performances but rarely get to see them from Central Wyoming, especially since Covid. Got to see John Prine at his best, that was memorable.  He's gone now,  just like his favorite spot in Muhlenberg County. The lyrics that get to the entire audience, that the audience waits for--

Acacia's Catman Space Captain: This will be fun to write (and hopefully read!) Acacia dreams of being a spaceship captain. She is offered a two-month internship on a small ship that is part of the Terran Boundary Guard. It will be a chance to learn a lot, see Earth from a distance, and experience the culture of alien allies, the Murkqui, a cat-like people with glider wings. Chloe, her adopted daughter, will be at Nature Camp on Fera. But sixteen-year-old Chloe decides to stowaway-- the first of many things that go wrong during the internship.

Cross your fingers I stay healthy through the winter, so I can reach some writing goals! The wildfire smoke (allergy asthma) tossed me into the hospital, and I am just now getting over the pneumonia that followed. I also had about of amnesia and lost a few hours. Doctors found nada. Luckily, nothing writing related!
