Six Sentence Sunday: Starlander's Myth

Hi! I haven't participated in SSS for a long time, but am happy to be back. Here is a six sentence section from my Steampunk Space Western Romance, Starlander's Myth.

Sophie held her daughter tight as the small flitter zipped through the thin air of the bubble. Her heart was still racing. She wanted to tear off her clothes, grab Flora and fly to safety. But there was no safety. And this wasn’t a real wilderness where she and Flora could hunt while in form and survive. This was a dead asteroid with air pumped in under a bubble for the miners.
