Six Sentence Sunday

My six sentences this week are from the short story Wishing Rights, from my Christmas Duet Christmas Magic (see sidebar).

            
         
“Oh, that is wonderful.” Her small face lit up with a smile and Pascal noticed for the first time that she was young and attractive, with even white teeth, dimples, and soft touchable skin. “Then you can have your foot healed.” Then she frowned. “But will you have to return to the North Pole first? Because by the time you can walk it will be deep winter.”
