So I chose the Space Sister's WIP. It has an ensemble cast: One college professor, Audra
Three college women from traditional, wealthy families, one young woman working as a dancer, watched closely because her family members are known rebels. The fourteen-year-old sister of one of the college girls is with them.
This group meets after a bombing in the downtown area of the capital city. As they walk out of town(the professor is in a medical float chair, which slows them down), they collect two young boys, orphans from the bombings.
Audra and the college women have been secretly copying old family records for a project they are involved in.
The project involves an ancient particle transport to a spaceship the government in power says never existed. Due to new information about their futures --that their families are bartering them off for political favor--, they are willing to take a chance.
Working with an ensemble cast, I have decided to tell the story in depth of one young woman, Gia the dancer. Before everything went crazy she was involved with a young man who is now at the heart of the rebellion army, as are her brothers and family.
The ship is huge, and has a sleep-learning system. The ladies are going to learn how to run an ancient starship.
