B= Brielle, Behind the Story #AtoZChallenge

Brielle, heroine in my upcoming Diaspora Worlds Book 4, Neon Orchid, is a woman who has lived under harsh control. She hated it, but she was helpless to stop it.

Her life looks perfect. She is noted for beauty among a population that is lab perfected. Her father is a wealthy and powerful man, she has had the best education and care. She accepts an arranged marriage to the handsome and accomplished youngest son of the planetary ruler, Karvar.

But Brielle knows the truth of her marriage. It  will end soon, because she was forced into drug addiction as a girl by an unknown enemy, to be a spy on the very family she married into. 

Karvar is a decent man, one of compassion. He alone will handle her recovery, in a  remote location in the alien swamps of New Prague.

Her marriage is doomed, but she has a chance to be free of the drugs, a chance to live in freedom. Now if only the unknown enemy will quit trying to kill them...
